The last winner of the ATP Castilla y Leon and winner of the Davis Cup, Feliciano Lopez, has shown his satisfaction for the award given to the Tournament. Lopez has played several times the ATP Open Castilla y Leon, but last edition got the victory when he won it, the same that happened with his two friends: Rafael Nadal (2003) and Fernando Verdasco (2007). “It is a proud for the Spanish Tennis that in our country will be celebrated this kind of Tournaments with high level and all the Spanish tennis players should be grateful to the Open Castilla y Leon” said Feliciano, and after this victory has experimented a great progression in the ATP, and has won another tittle in Johannesburg.
